Pre-Orientation Modules provide essential information before attending NSO and are available for all student types. Complete your modules before your session.
Step 3: Register for Frosh Camp (Optional for Freshmen)
Frosh Camp is a fun and interactive way for freshmen to make new friends, learn about the University of Memphis, and prepare for college success. You can register today!

Step 4: Submit Required Documents
All students must submit required documents before NSO. Ensure your admissions checklist is complete by submitting necessary forms.
Step 5: Pre-Advising (Optional for Freshmen)
Some areas of study may offer pre-advising before NSO. If your advisor reaches out, you are encouraged to respond and complete advising in advance. If not, don't worry! You will have time to be advised during your in-person NSO session.
Freshmen must attend in-person NSO even if pre-advised.
Step 6: Attend Tiger Tracks Kickoff (Optional but Encouraged for Freshmen)
Join us the night before your NSO session for Tiger Tracks Kickoff, an exclusive pre-orientation event for the Class of 2029. Meet future classmates, interact with current students, and stay overnight for fun experiences with the 2025 Orientation Guides. Learn more.
Step 7: Attend NSO in Person!
Your in-person New Student Orientation is a crucial step in your transition to the University of Memphis. Check out our FAQ's, packing lists, and schedules before you arrive to answer any questions.
