Biography
Diamond Vidro is an accomplished and sought-after female audio curator, producer, and engineer based in Memphis. Her journey in the music industry began at the University of Memphis, where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in Music Recording Technology in Spring 2017. Taking advantage of the vibrant music scene in Memphis, she actively sought opportunities to connect with industry professionals, leading to her employment as a live audio engineer at the historic Stax Museum.
During her time at Stax Museum, Vidro became a prominent figure as the go-to live audio personnel for various events, including "Live In Studio A," "The Memphis Grizzlies Staxtacular," and conferences featuring notable artists such as William Bell and Carla Thomas. Alongside her practical experience, she excelled in her academic studies, earning the opportunity to become a member of GrammyU in 2014, which allowed her to attend the 57th Annual Grammy Awards.
Her involvement extended beyond Stax Museum, as she was hired by TEDX Memphis to handle audio structures for events featuring speakers like Spike Lee, Nick Cannon, Stedman Graham, and the BarKay's 50th Anniversary Celebration. As the assistant manager of Ardent Studios, Vidro honed her skills as a producer and engineer, working with both analog and digital audio. It was during this time that she crossed paths with her mentor, record producer Zaytoven, leading to opportunities to record and engineer sessions for new signees and produce beats for Zaytoven.
With a growing demand for her talents, Vidro has taken the next step in her career. She is now a voting member of the Recording Academy and has founded Diamond Music Productions, LLC, where she serves as the founder and CEO. In this role, she helps artists shape their unique sound and turn their visions into reality through her extensive knowledge of music production and engineering.
Diamond Vidro's journey in the music industry continues with her receiving a Master's Degree in Music Industry from University of Miamo, solidifying her position as an incomparable female super producer and audio engineer.
