Sean Denby
Library Assistant
Biography
Sean Denby was born in Michigan but spent most of his youth in Kentucky. After finishing high school in Wisconsin, he found himself at Rhodes College. While there, Sean played the trombone in the jazz ensemble, sang in Rhodes Singers and the men's chorus, found joy in the percussion section of the wind ensemble, and composed original pieces. He graduated from the college in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music while also completing a minor in History.
Sean spent all four of his undergraduate years working in the library at Rhodes. This, combined with his love of music and music history, led him to the Music Library in December 2018. As a Library Assistant, he is readily available to assist students, faculty, guests, etc. in continuing their own music-related pursuits. When away from campus, Sean is an avid nerd: he actively plays videogames, listens to a wide-range of music, and plays Dungeons & Dragons with his friends.
