University Middle Community Partners

University Middle School relies on partnerships with businesses and organizations to provide students with the necessary information from their area of expertise.  Community partners are a valuable resource to both students and teachers.  As students work to collect information for Project Based Learning, community partners can equip them with knowledge by hosting field-trips or coming to the school to present.  These experiences allow students to relate their learning to career opportunities, areas of need in the community, and awareness of the vast world that awaits them.  The relationships that can form lead to a learning experience that goes far beyond the classroom.
