Inclement Weather Notice

Due to the forecasted severe winter weather conditions, the University will shift to modified campus operations, including remote work for faculty and staff who are able to do so, on Friday, Jan. 10. 

Crucial services, including campus police, limited physical plant operations and other services for residence hall students, will be available onsite. Employees are encouraged to visit the Emergency Closing Information & FAQs webpage for more information on University modified operations and/or closures.

Additionally, campus activities and events at all University of Memphis Shelby County locations and the Lambuth Campus in Jackson are canceled or postponed from Friday, Jan. 10, through Sunday, Jan. 12.

For the latest information, please check your email, local media sources, the University website or call 901.678.0888. Should there be a need for further cancellation, it will be communicated through those outlets.
