UofM Lambuth to Host True Blue Day 2023 on Saturday

March 31, 2023 — The UofM Lambuth will host True Blue Day 2023 on Saturday at 9 a.m. on the UofM Lambuth campus as the alumni chapter will honor outstanding alumni and friends and the classes of 1973 and 1998.

The Outstanding Alumna Award will be presented to Lalania Vaughn (BM ’92) while the Mike Keeney Outstanding Alumnus Award will be given to John Scott (EdD ’72). Both awards publicly recognize Lambuth alumni for distinguished personal, career and service accomplishments with exemplary contributions to the business and philanthropic communities.

Lauren Cobb will be honored with the Gene Smith Friend of Lambuth Award which is given to non-graduates of the University who have greatly contributed to its success and mission.

The Young Alumni Award will be presented to both Brianna Fulton (BS ’19) and Dan Overheim (BPS ’13).

Outstanding Lambuth Alumni bring great pride to the University of Memphis and honor the fine tradition of Lambuth University.

The awards ceremony will conclude with the Half-Century Club Induction with special Quarter-Century recognition of the Class of 1998.
