April 12, 2021 — The Fogelman College of Business and Economics (FCBE) at the University of Memphis had its accreditation renewed by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) for another five years.
The accreditation covers both the entire Fogelman College of Business and Crews School of Accountancy programs, confirming the high-quality educational experience provided to students across all programs.
Dr. Damon Fleming, dean of FCBE and professor of Accounting, said the rigorous preparation and review exemplifies the collective effort and commitment of Fogelman stakeholders.
“I am grateful to all the faculty, staff, students, alumni, industry partners and Advisory Council members who participated in the comprehensive effort over the last two years to help Fogelman achieve AACSB reaccreditation,” said Fleming. “At Fogelman, we transform lives and enhance well-being through world-class business education. AACSB reaccreditation is a testament to the devotion and shared vision of all Fogelman stakeholders.”
The AACSB review team, composed of Deans and senior administrators from peer business schools, interviewed Fogelman administrators, faculty, staff, Advisory Council members and students to assess the quality and effectiveness of Fogelman’s curricula, programs and learning goals, a comprehensive review process that reaffirms the school’s commitment to continuous improvement.
