Foreign Language Fair Will Celebrate "Treasures of the World" March 24

March 5, 2018 - The University of Memphis Department of World Languages and Literatures will host the 2018 Language Fair March 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the University Center. The theme will be "Treasures of the World."

Some 1,000 local high school students and 50 teachers from more than 30 schools are expected to participate. The fair features competitions and various language and culture events, including poetry recitation, music, art, dance and a Culture Bowl.

The day is dedicated to celebrating language and culture.
