University of Memphis Board of Trustees and Committees Will Meet June 6

May 31, 2017 - The University of Memphis Board of Trustees and its committees will meet on campus Tuesday, June 6.

Committee meetings will begin at 9 a.m. in the University Center Fountain View Suite (room 350). Committees will hear updates from University leadership, discuss proposals on agenda items, and approve recommendations to be taken to the Board for action. Committee and board meeting agenda items include: new academic programs, tenure upon appointment, internal audit plans and leadership, board policies, tuition and fees for fiscal year 2018, compensation plans, operating and capital budgets for fiscal years 2018 and 2019, and parental leave.

The schedule for the day is: Academic, Research and Student Success Committee, 9 a.m.; Audit Committee, 10 a.m.; Governance and Finance Committee, 11 a.m.; and the full Board of Trustees meeting at 1 p.m. The full Board of Trustees meeting will be held in the University Center Ballroom (room 320).
