Joe Brandenburg Joins UofM Lambuth as Director of Development
July 6, 2017 - The University of Memphis Lambuth recently hired Joe Brandenburg as
director of development. Brandenburg will focus on building relationships with individuals,
corporations and foundations in support of UofM Lambuth's highest priorities.
Before joining the University, Brandenburg served as the director of development for
Regional One Health for nearly six years. Brandenburg has more than 25 years of development
experience with such institutions as the University of Tennessee Knoxville and Indiana
University East.
"I am excited to be joining the dynamic development team at the University of Memphis
and building philanthropic support for the Lambuth campus," said Brandenburg. He holds
a Master of Public Administration from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga and
a Bachelor of Arts in mass communications from Western Kentucky University. Brandenburg
is actively engaged in several organizations including the Association of Fundraising
Professionals.
Dr. Niles Reddick, vice provost of UofM Lambuth, said, "While honoring Lambuth's storied
past, the University of Memphis is committed to building a vibrant campus of the future
that will be a catalyst for economic growth in West Tennessee by providing students
affordable access to higher education."
The UofM began offering classes at the Lambuth campus in Jackson, Tenn., in August
2011. Since then, the University has committed to reviving the historical campus to
become Jackson's most comprehensive four-year public university.
