UofM Board of Trustees and Committees Will Meet Dec. 7 in Jackson, Tenn.

December 1, 2017 - The University of Memphis Board of Trustees and its committees will meet at the UofM Lambuth campus in Jackson, Tenn., on Thursday, Dec. 7.

Committee meetings will begin at 9 a.m. in the Wilder Student Union on the UofM Lambuth campus. The members are scheduled to discuss various programming proposals, review reports from various divisions, approve recommendations to be taken to the Board for action, and meet in executive session to discuss audit and investigation issues. Committee and Board meeting agenda items include: appointment of the permanent Board Secretary; top- ranked programs; directors' and officers' insurance; and procurement severance from the Tennessee Board of Regents.

The schedule for the day is: Academic, Research and Student Success Committee, 9 a.m.; Governance and Finance Committee, 10:15 a.m.; Audit Committee, 11:30 a.m.; and the full Board of Trustees meeting at 2 p.m. The Board of Trustees meeting will be held in the Jack Morris Ballroom on the first floor of the Wilder Student Union.
