UofM Will Host International Conference on Transnational Education and Learning
September 9, 2016 - The Transnational Education and Learning Society (TELS) and the Department of Leadership at the University of Memphis will host the third annual International Conference on Transnational Education and Learning (ICTEL) Oct. 5-7.
TELS provides leadership in transnational education and learning by networking communities of stakeholders through education, communication, publication, research, advocacy and consulting activities around the principles of borderlessness, inclusion, authenticity, quality and sustainability. ICTEL is an academic forum for scholars, administrators and practitioners to discuss theories, methods, approaches, principles, research, practices and policies related to transnational education and learning.
The purpose of the discussions is to enrich literature and practice. In addition, it seeks to provide an exciting opportunity for all who "think global while teaching and leading local," and to enjoy rich conversations about the diverse world in an atmosphere of friendship and fellowship.
