- Research Applications
-
- Wind energy, rotorcraft and vortex-dominated flows
- Atmospheric boundary layers
- Energy production and storage
- Brief Description
- Our research focus is on complex turbulent flows characterized by dominant coherent structures and multi-scale physics. These characteristics are ubiquitous in many relevant engineering flows such as wind turbines, rotorcraft, bluff bodies, atmospheric flows, combustion, wall-bounded flows, aircraft, and biological flows.
