The Entrepreneurship Minor is open to ALL UofM Students whether they are pursuing
a business degree or not.

The FCBE Entrepreneurship minor, offered through the Department of Management, provides
strategies and real-world case study evaluations to help you through all stages of
a startup. You’ll learn about the risks and rewards of entrepreneurship from successful
startup founders and experienced mentors.
You can tailor the FCBE Entrepreneurship minor to best suit your major in any department, business or non-business college at the University of Memphis.
Choose a course that is relevant to both your business idea and your major.
Concentration
The Entrepreneurship Concentration is for FCBE Management Majors only.
The Entrepreneurship Concentration will prepare you for an entrepreneurial career
through a combination of coursework and practical experience, in addition to providing
the knowledge and skill set you’ll need to launch your own business or land a meaningful
role in an existing entrepreneurial enterprise.
You’ll have the ability to customize your educational experience through the choice
of an elective and personalized projects in classes throughout the curriculum.

activity, project, or business that is the focus of the concentration. |
