Program Overview
A BBA in International Business provides you with a broad, interdisciplinary education for a career in a global economy. Through the study of theoretical and practical aspects of international business, combined with course work in the liberal arts including foreign language proficiency, you will be prepared to work in a variety of professional positions in a multinational organization.
By majoring in International Business, you will gain a core set of skills sought after by employers in a wide range of workplace settings. You’ll increase your awareness of international business practices, develop the ability to conduct business in markets around the world, and learn how to adapt management methods in different cultural settings.
Employment for International Business majors is expected to grow faster than the average for all occupations. International Business graduates may go on to work in an international division of a multinational company, a national or international government agency, a nonprofit organization, or other organizational settings where a strong background in international business is an asset. Possible jobs include entry-level manager, administrator, analyst, consultant, product manager, public relations specialist, logistics manager, entrepreneur, sales manager or exporter/importer. A BBA in International Business is also excellent preparation for advanced degrees such as MBA or law school.

- Humanities / Fine Arts = 9 hours (At least one course must be in literature.)
- Social / Behavioral Sciences = 6 hours
- History = 6 hours
- Natural Sciences = 8 hours
- Mathematics = 3 hours
- Program Requirements = 27 hours
- Which includes 6 hours at or above the 2000 level (or equivalent) of Foreign Language
- Which includes 6 hours at or above the 2000 level (or equivalent) of Foreign Language
- Electives + Lower & Upper Division Business Core Courses = as needed to bring the total hours earned to 120.
