About
Jessica McClure is the Virtual Instruction Librarian at the University of Memphis. She works with faculty and staff to create LMS (Learning Management System) modules and enhance the University Libraries’ online instructional presence. She performs regular reference work through both in person and online modes and assists students and faculty with their research and access needs. She works as the Chair and ongoing member of various University of Memphis committees focusing on online instruction and accessibility. She is an advocate for intellectual freedom, serving as Chair of the Intellectual Freedom Committee of the Tennessee Library Association. She is a member of UM3D, working with instructional designers and trainers to promote University Libraries services in the University’s LMS.
