Fall 2018 Freshmen Orientation
New Student Orientation, or NSO, is required for all incoming freshman, so make plans to attend one of our NSO sessions. See below for available dates, an abbreviated schedule, and pricing details.

Below is a tentative outline of the schedule for your session. You will receive a more detailed schedule when you arrive at NSO. Orientation is a continuous program with all activities scheduled in a necessary sequence. Students are required to attend all sessions. The orientation schedule requires extensive walking so please wear comfortable shoes, and bring an umbrella!

Although you may finish earlier, please be prepared to stay until 4:30 p.m.
All incoming freshmen will receive a brochure in their mailbox with detailed information about New Student Orientation. If you do not receive a brochure in the mail, you may download one here. You must have been admitted to the University of Memphis in order to attend New Student Orientation.
Freshman Orientation Student Fee - $50
Includes enrollment confirmation, parking, all meals, refreshment breaks, and Orientation
materials.
Parent/Guest Fee - Options below.
$25 per parent/guest
Includes day one meals, refreshment breaks, parking, and orientation materials.
Refund Policy: For refunds, please submit a written request to orientation@memphis.edu before at least two weeks in advance of NSO date. Refund requests will not be processed after this date.
