Syllabi

Syllabi are a fair and impartial understanding between the instructor and students designed to answer students' questions about policies relating to the course, and set clear expectations of material to be learned, classroom behavior, as well as what will happen should students fail to meet course expectations. Syllabi also contain important dates such as exam dates and assignment due dates. As such, the Department of Journalism and Strategic Media places the syllabi of every class taught in the department online with the expectation that students will download and use them.
