About Prof. Brittany Mobley
Brittany Mobley is thrilled to return to her alma mater, The University of Memphis,
as an adjunct instructor. As the Senior Media Relations Specialist at Eastern Michigan
University, Prof. Mobley drives strategic publicity initiatives that elevate the University’s
visibility and reputation. With over eight years of experience in the PR world, spanning
nonprofits, community advocacy, and higher education, she’s successfully executed
campaigns that make a real impact.
Prof. Mobley holds a master's degree in public relations from Full Sail University,
where she honed her skills in creating, implementing, and evaluating effective PR
and marketing plans. But it all started right here in Memphis, where she earned her
bachelor’s degree in public relations. (Go Tigers, go!)
Her journey into PR wasn’t always smooth. Prof. Mobley began her career at a PR agency in 2015, facing a challenging work environment that taught her invaluable lessons about integrity, authenticity, and putting clients first. These early experiences fueled her determination to create Culturit Public Relations and Design Co., a company built on excellence, professionalism, and genuine care for clients. At Culturit, Prof. Mobley goes above and beyond to ensure her clients receive the top-notch service they deserve, all while staying true to her values of transparency and creativity.
Throughout her career and as the founder of Culturit, Prof. Mobley has had the opportunity to work with iconic brands like Jeep, Grand Wagoneer, Jalen Rose, Victoria Monét, North American Auto Show, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Target. She’s passionate about empowering brands to tell their stories authentically, connect with their audiences, and achieve their business goals.
When she’s not busy crafting strategic PR campaigns or managing media relations, you can find Prof. Mobley volunteering with her sorority, diving into anything Harry Potter-related, kayaking, playing The Sims, or traveling with her 4-year-old son.
