Passport

You are required to keep your passport valid at all times.  When you enter the United States with an F-1 visa, your passport must be valid for at least six months in the future, so be sure to renew it at least six months before its expiration date. 

The passport renewal process varies according to your home country.  Contact your country's embassy in the United States to determine the procedure for renewing your passport.

Once you receive your new passport, send a copy of the biographical page to International Student Services at theworld@memphis.edu.
