Join us at the 4th annual Materials Day to explore the materials that impact your world. Everything around us - clothes, computers, vehicles, materials that improve our health - is made of material stuff. Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) combines engineering, physics, chemistry, and biology principles to solve real-world problems associated with nanotechnology, biotechnology, information technology, energy, manufacturing, and other major engineering disciplines. About INDIUM
INDIUM was established in 2004 to promote development and innovation in the research of nanomaterials.
Our mission is to facilitate interdisciplinary research and education in nanoscale science and engineering at the University of Memphis and collaborating institutions and serve as nanotechnology research and education hub for Southwest Tennessee and surrounding areas. INDIUM currently includes faculty members in chemistry, physics, biology, and biomedical engineering.
