Promoting Resilience in Memphis: An Outcome Evaluation of iIMPACT Services for the Health and Well-being of Urban Children (Evaluation)
Under the direction of Dr. Debra Bartelli (School of Public Health) and Dr. Kathryn Howell (Department of Psychology), the Promoting Resilience in Memphis: An Outcome Evaluation of iIMPACT Services for the Health and Well-being of Urban Children (Promoting Youth Resilience) initiative supports evaluation efforts of the funded iIMPACT projects. Specifically, Drs. Howell and Bartelli are assisting project PI’s with evaluation design, implementation, and analysis to ensure that intended outcomes are realistic, achievable, and measurable across iIMPACT projects. The initiative also employs a comprehensive assessment strategy focused on children served by iIMPACT. A common set of measurement instruments and indicators are utilized across projects to capture information on core elements of youth functioning that are affected when parents, family members, and teachers engage in iIMPACT services.
