Multi-Tier Systems of Support
To address the growing instructional challenges faced by both general and special educators, Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) have been developed. MTSS employs evidence-based strategies that offer varying levels of support to enhance the achievement of all students.
Prospective teachers can pursue courses under this certificate as electives while working toward licensure in a Master of Arts in Teaching program, a Special Education Endorsement, a Special Education Master’s Degree, or a concentration within a Doctoral Program.
The primary goal of the Graduate Multi-Tiered Systems of Support Certificate is to equip current and aspiring educators with practical training to effectively address the learning and behavioral needs of students in K-12 and alternative educational settings.
