About Dr. Mohorn-Mintah
Dr. Mohorn-Mintah’s research centers the experiences of the underrepresented (both students and professionals) pursuing science majors and careers. Dr. Mohorn-Mintah works to dismantle institutional structures serving as barriers to science identity construction for those underrepresented in the science field.
Dr. Mohorn-Mintah taught secondary science in Chicago Public Schools for 18 years. She has also worked as instructional coach and curriculum writer for the school district. Dr. Mohorn-Mintah most recently worked as a University Supervisor for Dominican University-River Forest and National Louis University.
