Non-FMLA Medical Leave

Employees who are not eligible for FMLA may apply for leave due to their own illness or injury, pregnancy, maternity or paternity leave, and serious illness in the immediate family. After exhaustion of all sick and annual leave, the employee may apply for a leave of absence without pay.  A medical certificate from a health care provider and a release to return to work may be required.
