First-time out-of-state freshmen accepted into the Helen Hardin Honors College who meet the requirements below are eligible to receive the Non-Resident Honors Student Award (NRHSA), which covers the out-of-state portion of tuition. This scholarship reduces the cost of UofM tuition to the amount paid by in-state students. The NRHSA is renewable for up to eight consecutive semesters provided students maintain good standing with the Honors College by meeting both GPA and participation requirements.
Eligibility Criteria (Students Must Meet Both)
• 3.25 GPA
• 25 ACT or 1200 SAT
Scholarship Requirements
• Full-Time Enrollment
• Maintain “good standing” with the Helen Hardin Honors College
• Actively pursue the honors graduation designation (2-3 honors courses per year)
