SECTION II - For Non-Resident Students Only
First-time out-of-state freshmen accepted into the Helen Hardin Honors College who meet the requirements below are eligible to receive the Non-Resident Honors Student Award (NRHSA), which covers the out-of-state portion of tuition. This scholarship reduces the cost of UofM tuition to the amount paid by in-state students. The NRHSA is renewable for up to eight consecutive semesters provided students maintain good standing with the Honors College by meeting both GPA and participation requirements.
Eligibility Criteria (Students Must Meet Both)
• 3.25 GPA
• 25 ACT or 1200 SAT
Scholarship Requirements
• Full-Time Enrollment
• Maintain “good standing” with the Helen Hardin Honors College
• Actively pursue the honors graduation designation (2-3 honors courses per year)

I understand that in order for this application to be considered I must also submit an application to The University of Memphis and that my admission to the Honors College is contingent upon my admission to the University.
