WHERE ARE YOU FROM? Quezon City, the Philippines

FAVORITE THING ABOUT HERFF ENGINEERING? My favorite thing about Herff is how the community and atmosphere motivates me to study harder and pursue ways to improve my engineering skills.

WHAT ARE YOUR CAREER GOALS? I'm very excited to pursue a career in research & development in optical engineering.

WHAT ARE YOUR INTERESTS OR HOBBIES? I like to play video games and musical instruments.

WHAT MOTIVATES YOU? WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO PURSUE ENGINEERING? I'm motivated by how interested I am in learning more about electrical components and systems. I have a friend from back home who is an electrical engineer, and seeing the work that my friend did let me know that I wanted to pursue the same field of study.

ARE YOU INVOLVED IN THE COMMUNITY? WHERE AND HOW DO YOU VOLUNTEER? This year I joined the Day of Service and helped out with cleaning up the College.

HAVE YOU PARTICIPATED IN ANY RESEARCH? IF SO, DESCRIBE YOUR EXPERIENCE. I'm currently doing research on remote sensors and optics at the Electro-Optics Lab with Dr. Eddie Jacobs and CAESER (Center for Applied Earth Science and Engineering Research)

ANYTHING ELSE YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE? I'm excited to apply what I learn in electrical engineering to my hobbies, for example: creating custom controllers and sensors and modifying amplifiers and effects pedals.
