Herff 2025 Senior Design Expo

The Herff College of Engineering has been hosting senior design events for years to feature the innovation and creativity of our excellent, soon-to-graduate seniors. In 2024, Herff shifted to an interdisciplinary, college-wide event to provide a special opportunity to highlight the acheivements of our talented and hardworking students, as well as share their projects with the college, campus community, sponsors, faculty and the public at large. In addition, the interdisciplinary focus allows for greater collaboration among the five Herff departments.

Senior Design is a two-course sequence that runs from August to April. The course utilizes the integration of all engineering components as its principal theme. Students work in groups to develop a new product from conceptualization and design to manufacturing and marketing. This senior year design class is the “capstone” course in the engineering curriculum, drawing upon student training in all previous courses to prepare a final design project.
