Professional Development Series. The March series will be a nuts & bolts workshop focused on identifying funding opportunities and developing
competitive proposals. Hosted by Dr. J. Elliot Casal, Assistant Professor of English Dr. William Duffy, Associate Professor of English Dr. Erin Nelson, Associate Professor of Public and Nonprofit Administration and Associate Director
of the Institute for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership Dr. Leah Windsor, Associate Professor of English)

CyberCorps Scholarship for Service

The federal government is paying for cybersecurity degrees!
CyberCorps SFS is a unique program designed to increase and strengthen the cadre of federal information
assurance professionals that protect the government’s critical information infrastructure.
Scholarship Details
- All tuition and education related fees paid
- Up to 3 years of support for undergraduate and graduate (MS or PhD) education
- Academic year stipends of $25,000 for undergraduate students and $34,000 for graduate
students
- Professional allowance of $6,000 for SFS Job Fair and other travel, professional certification,
etc.
- Summer internships
- Post graduation government service requirement for a period equivalent to length of
scholarship
Eligibility
- U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Full-time student with a commitment for a career in cybersecurity

2023 Fall and 2024 Spring Cohort Applications (one round of applications):
February 1 to April 15, 2023

AutoID Lab open house scheduled
|
|
Dr. Kevin Berisso, Engineering Technology, and the The AutoID Lab will be hosting
an open house to celebrate their move to a new location at 4055 South Park Loop (Building
29). The event will be held Thursday, March 30 from 12 to 5 p.m.
During the open house, visitors will have the opportunity to hear about research Dr.
Berisso is conducting with GS1, meet student researchers and learn how barcodes and
RFID can be used to their advantage. |
