About Jessicia Meeks
Jessicia Meeks joined the College of Health Sciences in the spring of 2024. Throughout her 10-year career in healthcare, she has served as a medical assistant, health center manager and instructor for medical assistant and medical office assistant students. During her tenure at Remington College, she grew a passion for fostering a learning environment for aspiring healthcare workers.
Jessicia developed a plethora of skills while working in various areas such as primary care, urgent care, pediatrics, cardiology and behavioral health. She also currently serves as a community counselor and mental health tech at Lakeside. Her role is essential in tracking and monitoring the progress of patients with various conditions including but not limited to depression, psychosis and addiction. Jessicia is eager to use her platform to contribute to the development of self-assured and exceptional healthcare workers.
