About Gregory Hughes
Gregory Hughes, PhD earned his doctorate in Christian Psychology from South Florida Theological Seminary and a master’s degree in counseling from the University of Memphis. He has served as administrative director of residential, inpatient and partial hospitalization programs as well as managed his own full time private psychotherapy practice. In his role as program director at Delta Medical Center, Dr. Hughes spent ten years as chairman of the Hospital Ethics committee and utilized his certification as a crisis prevention/intervention instructor to train thousands of employees how to effectively manage client behavior. Dr. Hughes is an approved clinical supervisor through the National Board of Certified Counselors and supervises post graduates seeking licensure as professional counselors. Dr. Hughes is certified in EMDR and hypnotherapy and is the author of 101 Positive Memory Activities.
