Health Care Interpreter Training Program Offered Online this Summer
The School of Public Health will be offering its internationally-accredited Health Care Interpreter Training Program this summer online via Zoom.
The School of Public Health's Health Care Interpreter Training Program is a specialized educational program for individuals who are proficient in two or more languages. Graduates of our program are qualified to work in a variety of health care settings, including hospitals, clinics, and community health settings. Our program is the first in the U.S. to be accredited by the International Medical Interpreter Association (IMIA). Our next Health Care Interpreter Level I class will be offered ONLINE (via Zoom) during 5 weeks in the Summer of 2020 (from June 16th-July 16th). The online sessions will be held Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays for a total of 8 hours each week (course total = 40 hours).
