Welcome to the First Scholars® Program
The First Scholars® Program supports first-generation college students and enhances their ability to successfully graduate. The 4-year program is open to incoming first-time, full-time freshmen whose parents did not attend college. Selected students receive personalized support, an annual award of $5,000, which is renewable for a total award of $20,000 over 4 years. This scholarship cannot be combined with other academic or programmatic scholarships like the Provost, Presidential or Emerging Leaders Scholarship.
