Co-directors Dr. Firouzeh Sabri, experimental materials physicist & chair of the Physics & Material Science department and Dr. Michael Golias, faculty in the Civil Engineering department at the University of Memphis, sit down with the FedEx Institute of Technology to answer 5 questions about the impact of COVID-19 on global, regional, and local supply chains.

Professor Sabri is an experimental materials physicist. In addition to serving as the Chair for the Department of Physics and Material Science, her research focuses on synthesis, characterization, and understanding of bulk and surface properties of nanomaterials and aerogels.
