FCBE Graduate Permits


Important Permit Information 

Please read the details below before submitting your request. 

Undergraduate students should submit permit requests on the FCBE USSO advising webpage. Undergraduate requests will not be honored on this page, if submitted.

All requests for permits outside of FCBE should be submitted to the prospective college (i.e., for COMP 7012 you will need to contact the Department of Computer Science).

Requests should only be submitted for FCBE courses that are listed as “Permit Required.”  Please confirm this requirement before submitting your request form.  


MBA Permits

The following courses require permits for current MBA students. 

  • BA 7503
  • MGMT 7160
  • MIS 7650

HADM- Permits

  • HADM (Health Administration)/PUBH (Public Health) course permits are for MBA-Healthcare Management students only.

  • MBA/MHA dual program students should contact their MHA advisor directly.  
 

MIS Permits

  • Due to the increase in demand, seat availability is limited for all MIS courses and require a permit.

  • Submitting an MIS permit request does not guarantee your request will be granted as these permits are based on degree requirements.

Doctoral & Specialized Masters Permits

Permits for the following Specialized Masters: MS in Accounting, MA in Economics, MSBA in Finance

Please read the details below before submitting your request. 

  • Successful completion or current enrollment in prerequisites is required for any permit request that has a prerequisite requirement. 

  • Dissertation course permits (BA 9000) and all independent study courses require approval from your PhD coordinator. Please have your PhD coordinator add your name and all requested information to the approval list for which they have access.  

  • Requests for more than one (1) dissertation hour requires approval from the Associate Dean of Academic Programs & Research. Please have your coordinator make the request to the Asstociate Dean. These permits will be issued once approval is received.  

  •  Email requests are no longer accepted.
