Specialized Master's Admission Requirements


Master of Science in Accounting (MS)

  • Submission of an online Graduate Application, and any associated fees, through the Tiger Tracks Portal.

  • A Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution.

  • Official Transcripts from all previously attended colleges or universities.

  • GPA Requirements
    • Undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.75 on the US 4.0 scale.

  • GMAT Scores
    • five years or less - if applicable.
    • Test score waivers are considered upon submission and review of all required documents.

Master of Art in Economics (MA)

  • Submission of an online Graduate Application, and any associated fees, through the Tiger Tracks Portal.

  • A Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution.

  • Official Transcripts from all previously attended colleges or universities.

  • GPA Requirements
    • Undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.75 on the US 4.0 scale.

  • GMAT Scores
    • five years or less - if applicable.
    • GRE/GMAT Test Scores-if applicable

  • Math Prerequisite
    • MATH 1830
    • MATH 1910
    • Or its equivalent

  • Letters of Recommendation
    • 2 letters of recommendation from faculty who have taught you in economics or mathematics classes.

  • Students with the necessary pre-qualifications may have the prerequisite waived by the program coordinator. (Test score waivers are considered upon submission and review of all required documents.

Master of Science in Business Administration (MSBA) with a concentration in Finance

  • Submission of an online Graduate Application, and any associated fees, through the Tiger Tracks Portal.

  • A Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution.

  • Official Transcripts from all previously attended colleges or universities.
  • GPA Requirements
    • Satisfactory performance on undergraduate coursework. GPA requirement varies based on program completed.

  • GMAT Scores
    • five years or less - if applicable.
    • GRE or GMAT score required

  • Math Prerequisite
    • MATH 1830
    • Or its equivalent

  • Students with the necessary pre-qualifications may have the prerequisite waived by the program coordinator. (Test score waivers are considered upon submission and review of all required documents.

Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS)

  • Submission of an online Graduate Application, and any associated fees, through the Tiger Tracks Portal.

  • A Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution.
    • The MSIS program will consider three-year degrees from accredited institutions. 

  • Official Transcripts from all previously attended colleges or universities.
  • GPA Requirements
    • 2.75 (on a 4.0 scale)

  • English Proficiency (when applicable)
    Proficiency at full communication using English is a central element of success in the MSIS program.

    • DET (Duolingo English Test) -
      • Overall minimum of 110 with no sub-score below 90. 
      • School Code = 1459

    • TOEFL
      • 550 on paper version
      • 80 on internet-based test with no sub-score below 20.

    • IELTS
      • Overall minimum of 6.5 with no sub-score below 6.0.

    • PTE (Pearson)
      • Overall minimum of 59

  • GRE/GMAT Test Scores
    If the applicant does not meet the criteria to have test scores waived, these are the minimum required test scores for admission to the MSIS program. (criteria listed below)  

    • GRE: 300 or better (overall score)

    • GMAT (traditional): 450 or better (overall score)

    • GMAT (new/Focus): 455 or better (overall score)

GRE/GMAT scores are waived for: 

  • Students with a bachelor’s degree and a 3.25 GPA or better. 

  • Students with a post graduate degree in which they received a GPA of 3.0 or better. 

  • Students who have completed a graduate certificate in MIS with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better. 

  • Students who have a proven working career in the IT field of 5 or more years and a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 2.75.
