Dr. Rezaee selected as the next editor of the Journal of Forensic Accounting Research

Dr. Zabihollah (Zabi) Rezaee, Thompson-Hill Chair of Excellence and Professor of Accounting
in the School of Accountancy was selected as the next editor of the Journal of Forensic Accounting Research (JFAR). The JFAR is one of the many journals of the American Accounting Association
(AAA). The announcement was made at the breakfast meeting of the Forensic Accounting
Section of the AAA on August 8, 2018 and the 2018 AAA Annual Meeting in Washington
DC. In accepting the nomination to be the next editor of the JFAR, Dr. Rezaee stated
that he is ready and willing to advance the mission of the JFAR in providing "a forum
for the timely dissemination of advances in research, education, and practice in forensic
accounting and related disciplines," and in improving the quality and quantity of
the journal. Dr. Rezaee has served on the editorial boards of 10 accounting and business
journals, as an Editor-in-Chief, International Journal of Economics and Statistics, 2015-2017; and a Guest Editor, Sustainability Journal, 2018-2019. Most recently Dr. Rezaee presented five papers at the 2018 AAA Annual
Conference in Washington DC in August 2018.
