Dr. Chuck Pierce elected as a Fellow of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology

Dr. Chuck Pierce, associate dean for Academic Programs and Research, has been elected
as a Fellow of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP). Industrial/organizational
psychology entails the study of human resource management and organizational behavior
from an applied psychological perspective.
Criteria for SIOP Fellowship include having widely read, refereed publications that have defined new areas of research and theory or that have significantly shaped the research and knowledge base of the field. Evidence for SIOP Fellowship must show that the scholar has enriched or advanced the field on a scale well beyond that of being a good researcher, practitioner, or teacher. Not only must his contribution and/or performance be outstanding, his work must also have had impact that is recognized broadly in the U.S. and/or internationally.
"This accomplishment showcases the outstanding research and academic contributions that are being produced by Dr. Pierce and our FCBE faculty," said Dr. Rajiv Grover, dean. "Congratulations, Chuck. We are very proud you."
