Industry." This manuscript is coauthored with the Interim Graduate School Dean Robin

This paper explores the use of Big Data and data analytics in identifying, assessing, managing and disclosing business activities of the hospitality industry. Big Data and data analytics have made significant progress worldwide in all industries in the past decade. The use of Big Data and data analytics affects hotel management in many ways by influencing how hospitality businesses are conducted, their performance is measured, and their risks are assessed and disclosed. However, Big Data and data analytics application in the hospitality industry including resort and hotel businesses is at an early stage. We are in the process of conducting a survey to gather insight from hospitality managers regarding the implications of Big Data for the hospitality industry.
