Dr. Robin Poston is the new vice president of the AIS College of Academic Leadership

Dr. Robin Poston, professor and chair of the Department of Business Information and
Technology, was recently elected to the position of vice president for the College
of Academic Leadership (CAL) within the Association for Information Systems (AIS).
This position will gain exposure on the national level for the Business Information
and Technology (BIT) department.
AIS works to advance knowledge and promote excellence in the practice and study of information systems, a mission aligned with that of BIT. Following in the footsteps of prior BIT department chairs who have been active members in this AIS College, Dr. Poston is building on the legacy of leadership that the University of Memphis has shown in supporting its national academic association. Through her position as vice president of CAL, Dr. Poston will have the opportunity to enrich the dialogue about innovations in how BIT teaching, research, and service are pursued on an international level.
