FCBE Hosts 1st Annual Multicultural Diversity & Inclusion Conference

Fogelman College recently hosted the first Annual Multicultural Diversity & Inclusion Conference. The conference was sponsored by the SHRM Memphis Professional Chapter. More than 100 human resource professionals from across the City of Memphis were in attendance. The attendees collaborated and shared how diversity and inclusion positively impacts not only employee morale and the goodwill of the company but also the bottom line.

Companies such as AutoZone, International Paper, FedEx, Service Master, Medtronic, Employee Resources Group, and others hosted various discussions and presentations surrounding this topic. Shelby County Mayor, Mark Luttrell, and Chief HR Officer for the City of Memphis, Alex Smith, were also present at the event.
