DeNisha Malone awarded the UofM Multicultural Affairs Dedication Award

DeNisha Malone, an undergraduate student in the Department of Business Information
and Technology, earned the University of Memphis Multicultural Affairs Dedication
Award for her leadership. She earned this award for her hard work within the Multicultural
Affairs office, while still showing a continuous growth in her academic career. She
has also exhibited her leadership qualities as the president of the African Students'
Association for two years, while obtaining and working in four internships, maintaining
a strong relationship with three mentees, and earning a position on the Fogelman College
Dean's list each semester.
"Ms. Malone is an inspiration. She takes advantage of opportunities where she can grow and learn in order to help organizations move forward to the next level," said Dr. Robin Poston, chair of the Department of Business Information and Technology.
