FCBE student, Johnathan Moffett, Receives 2015 MLK Human Rights Award

Undergraduate economics student, Johnathan Moffett, recently received the 2015 Martin Luther King Jr. Human Rights Award. The award recognizes individuals whose activities exemplify non-violent leadership in the pursuit of social justice and human rights. Moffett is currently the president of his fraternity, Alpha Phi Alpha, Inc., and is a member of Empowered Men of Color.
A native Memphian, Moffett is involved in many local activities surrounding the University
and FCBE. He is a Frosh Camp Counselor who also helps tutor students in mathematics.
Moffett is also an active member of the Emerging Leaders program on campus.
Upon graduating, Moffett seeks to obtain his MBA and enter the actuarial field as
a financial planner or analyst.
