    Change is a magazine dealing with contemporary issues in higher learning. It is intended to stimulate and inform reflective practitioners in colleges, universities, corporations, government, and elsewhere. Using a magazine format rather than that of an academic journal, Change spotlights trends, provides new insights and ideas, and analyzes the implications of educational programs, policies, and practices.

  • Community Development Journal
    Since 1966 the leading international journal in its field, covering a wide range of topics, reviewing significant developments and providing a forum for cutting-edge debates about theory and practice. It adopts a broad definition of community development to include policy, planning and action as they impact on the life of communities. We particularly seek to publish critically focused articles which challenge received wisdom, report and discuss innovative practices, and relate issues of community development to questions of social justice, diversity and environmental sustainability.

    Family and Community Health is a practical quarterly which presents creative, multidisciplinary perspectives and approaches for effective public and community health programs. Each issue focuses on a single timely topic and addresses issues of concern to a wide variety of population groups with diverse ethnic backgrounds, including children and the elderly, men and women, and rural and urban communities.
  • Gateways: International Journal of Community Research and Engagement
    Gateways: International Journal of Community Research and Engagement is a refereed journal concerned with the practice and processes of university-community engagement. It responds to a growing global movement of university-community collaborative research initiatives. It provides a forum for academics, practitioners and community representatives to explore issues and reflect on practices relating to the full range of engaged activity. The journal publishes evaluative case studies of community engagement initiatives; analyses of the policy environment; and theoretical reflections that contribute to the scholarship of engagement. Both refereed and non-refereed articles are published.
  • Health Education and Behavior
    Health Education and Behavior (HEB) is a peer-reviewed bi-monthly journal that provides empirical research, case studies, program evaluations, literature reviews, and discussions of theories of health behavior and health status, as well as strategies to improve social and behavioral health. HEB also examines the processes of planning, implementing, managing, and assessing health education and social-behavioral interventions.

    Innovative Higher Education is a publication of the Institute of Higher Education that has been published since 1975. It is a refereed scholarly journal with a distinguished and internationally known editorial review board.
  • International Journal for Service-Learning in Engineering
    The Journal welcomes manuscripts based on the original work of students, faculty and researchers with a specific focus on projects, programs, research and pedagogy that involve humanitarian engineering, social entrepreneurship, and service learning.
  • Journal of Architectural Education
    The Journal of Architectural Education (JAE) has been the primary venue for research and commentary on architectural education since it was founded in 1947. In 1982 the JAE established a blind-peer-review process, making it the oldest continuing operating journal of its kind. The JAE is published by the Associate of Collegiate School of Architecture (ACSA) through Wiley/Blackwell. The types of articles the journal publishes include: Scholarship of Design, Design as Scholarship, Op Arch, Translations, Transactions, Interviews, and several form of review, from buildings + projects to books and symposia.
  • Journal for Civic Commitment
    All articles submitted to The Journal for Civic Commitment are peer-reviewed by the Journal's Editorial Board, which includes experts in the field of service learning and civic engagement. Papers are reviewed in full publishable form, and no manuscript is accepted based only upon submission of an abstract. Reviewers determine whether or not an article will be published in the Journal, and will provide the editor with comments intended to improve the content, style, and other issues that would improve the quality of the article.

    The Journal of Community Engagement and Scholarship (JCES) is a peer-reviewed international journal through which faculty, staff, students, and community partners disseminate scholarly works. JCES integrates teaching, research, and community engagement in all disciplines, addressing critical problems identified through a community-participatory process.

    Metropolitan Universities Journal is a quarterly publication intent on helping your institution stay abreast of cutting-edge topics in higher education. Published by Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) on behalf of the Coalition of Urban and Metropolitan Universities, each themed issue reports in-depth on theoretical and applied aspects affecting colleges and universities.     Museums & Social Issues, a new peer-reviewed journal published by Left Coast Press, Inc., provides an important forum for the consideration of social issues and their engagement with museums. Each issue focuses on a specific theme, and includes theoretical, philosophical and practical perspectives from inside and outside the museum field, exploring and reflecting upon the intersections between society and museums.
  • NAPA Bulletin
    The NAPA Bulletin series is dedicated to the practical problem-solving and policy applications of anthropological knowledge and methods. NAPA Bulletins are peer reviewed, and are distributed free of charge as a benefit of NAPA membership. The NAPA Bulletin seeks to facilitate the sharing of information among practitioners, academics, and students, be a useful document for practitioners, contribute to the professional development of anthropologists seeking practitioner positions, and support the general interests of practitioners both within and outside the academy.
