Academic Summary
Rachel Kaplowitz Cantrell teaches various composition and literature courses in the Department of English. She has over a decade of experience teaching English at multiple schools and educational levels, such as public and private universities, community college, and high school. She received her Bachelor's degree in English with a certification in education from LSU; attained her Master's degree in English from Boston College; and completed her PhD coursework in English from the University of Memphis, with a focus on Modern American Literature and interrogation of feminist identity and voice in experimental narrative. She has a passion for engaging all students and equipping them with the critical thinking, writing, and analysis skills that are key for their success as academics and individuals.
