Paint-a-Pot
Think about the dishes you use in your life - plates to eat dinner on, decorative jars, containers for storage and more. Just like us, ancient Egyptians also used dishes, but theirs were typically made of clay. As part of creating pottery, Egyptians decorated the pieces with designs from the world around them. The designs here are from the Predynastic Period, which was more than 5000 years ago! Learn about different designs used on ancient Egyptian pottery and color your own pots. See below for a few finished examples.
