The Department of Earth Sciences maintains facilities for pursuing a wide range of teaching and research studies. Some of these facilities are shared with other academic departments or research centers, whereas some are maintained solely by departmental personnel. Keep in mind that the interdisciplinary nature of Earth Sciences creates opportunities for crossing disciplinary boundaries and innovative use of tools and resources.
