The Center for Workplace Diversity and Inclusion (CWDI) serves to EMPOWER SCHOLARS, ENRICH EDUCATION and ENGAGE COMMUNITY.

The Center for Workplace Diversity and Inclusion (CWDI) is an interdisciplinary center created to foster research, learning and employee training related to workplace diversity and inclusion. The CWDI serves as a resource for faculty, students, businesses and community partners who wish to understand the array of issues related to diversity and inclusion that exist in the workplace. We encourage innovative and collaborative research that can be applied to organizational settings to make meaningful steps to creating more inclusive workplaces for all. We also provide a number of educational resources and consulting services meant to help develop diversity consciousness and skills in current and future employees and push organizations forward with regard to inclusion and equity.

Faculty Research Grants

We offer small grants for faculty to assist in project development and implementation. We also offer travel grants for graduate students presenting research at national or international conferences.

Student Research Assistantships

As part of our mission to conduct high-quality research and provide meaningful education opportunities, we provide opportunities for students to gain research experience working with D&I researchers. Undergraduate students interested in gaining research experience that will be useful when applying to graduate school should contact us for additional information about ways to get involved.

Consulting Services

Interested in ways to improve your company's D&I policies or maximize potential in your diverse talent? We offer a number of consulting services to assist in diagnosing problem areas and presenting evidence-based solutions to increase inclusion.
