Dr. Xiajun Jiang joined the department in Fall 2024 after receiving his PhD in Computing and Information Sciences from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Before that, he earned his master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Automation from Zhejiang University.
Dr. Jiang's research interests lie within a broad area of machine learning and health care with specific focuses on interdisciplinary directions of adaptive computing in AI models, physics-informed deep learning, and their applications to health care.
