Department Receives Funding for 502 Project

The Department has received $15k of sub-award funding for the 502 Project, which aims to encourage communities to pursue cybersecurity careers by connecting them with mentors in the field.

Partnering with the University of South Florida, the UofM will enroll high-school students and Memphis-area mentors in the 502 Project platform, develop a cybersecurity curriculum, and participate in and host virtual community events.  Profs. Dipankar Dasgupta, Hasan Ali (Electrical and Computer Engineering), and Myounggyu Won will lead the work.
